Appointment FAQs

_____

What happens once I book the appointment online?

You will immediately see a confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email with your appointment details.  For ULS Consults and New Matters, you’ll also receive a follow-up email with new client form(s) and information about your appointment.  The follow-up email will be sent by the end of the business day, or for appointments made after 5 p.m., by noon the following business day.

Do I need to do anything after I book an appointment?

Please complete the new-client forms that will be sent to you with your confirmation email and return them via email prior to your appointment.  All forms are also available on the Information and Resources page.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

New Matters
Please bring any relevant documents or materials that you already have in your possession, such as applications, contracts, letters, notices, existing estate documents, or the like.  There is no need to track down information you don’t already have prior to our first meeting.  If you are seeking assistance with a land use or code enforcement matter, it would also be helpful to have a few photos on your phone of the site/situation.

ULS Consults
All of your relevant documents and materials should be emailed to me by 5 p.m. three days prior to your appointment.  If you have new or updated information, you can email that to me at any time, or bring it with you to your appointment.

Notary Appointments
Please bring your photo ID and any documents you need to have notarized.  I will notarize extra copies at no extra charge, but ask that you bring your own copies along with your originals.

Client Conferences
We will contact you via phone or email if there is anything you need to bring to a scheduled client conference.

What if my matter is not resolved at the ULS Consult?

Often something that seems simple turns out not to be, and that’s no problem.  My goal is that you always leave a consultation feeling informed, confident, and in control of what happens next.  When an issue requires further attention, I’ll explain how I can continue to assist you at my hourly rate.

Do I have to create an account to book online?

Nope.  Just enter your name and email address.

Can I make an appointment by phone or email instead?

Absolutely; just reach out to us directly by calling (425) 906-9590 or email me my Office Manager, Heather Lee, at  [email protected].
